Recognise Love, receive it, let yourself be changed by it, and witness to it in the world.
At the heart of the Christian life is a Love that we have first received (cf 1Jn 4:10).
We want to recognise how God has Loved, and is loving, each of us personally; and to rediscover our identity in that Love, revealed to us by Christ on the Cross. Christ’s love is not impersonal or abstract, but it is personal, sacrificial, faithful, and life-giving. Living in His Love leads us into a true peace, unity and joy.
Intimately linked to this Love we receive is the call to Love others as we have been Loved; to give all in a sincere gift of self, like Christ on the Cross. In doing so our lives become an authentic witness and invite others into the same life of love.
